Obituary of Ann M. Mallory

Please share a memory of Ann to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
ANN "DOLLY" MALLORY March 30, 1932 - September 25, 2015 Ann Mallory left this earth on September 25, 2015, in her home, with her family gathered around her. She leaves with her family the memory of a very brave woman who battled lung cancer so that she might remain just a little longer with the family and friends whom she adored. She was able to meet and love her second great-grandson, Oliver, and to see her first great-grandson, Tucker, grow another year older and help take care of "Nana". Ann married the love of her life, Richard Mallory, on September 1, 1958. How fortunate we were to have witnessed the example of a truly wonderful marriage by two people who loved each other completely. Ann loved her family, her dogs and her Mets. Ann was predeceased by her husband, Richard Mallory, in November 2002. She was the daughter of Mary and Joseph Knowles. She is survived by her children, Lisa (Gerard) Lesczynski, Joan (Michael) Howe, Richard (Alexis) Mallory; grandchildren, Kate Tucker and her husband, Alex Ayzenberg, Jessica Tucker, Melanie and Megan Lesczynski, Adrianna, Marissa and Matthew Mallory, Elijah (Melissa) Howe and great-grandchildren, Tucker and Oliver Ayzenberg. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan County or the Walden Humane Society. Arrangements made by William M. Gagan Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.wmgaganfuneralhome.com
